What can I trade?
Options only, and only on tickers from the approved list.
Where is the ticker whitelist?
/ticker-whitelist has the searchable list. Requests for new tickers go to support@strixoptionsfunding.com.
Can I trade SPY, QQQ, and SPX?
If the ticker is on the whitelist, yes. Check /ticker-whitelist, which is the live list rather than a summary of it.
Hours, holidays, and news
Can I trade 0DTE options?
Yes, on any supported ticker. Follow the expiration cutoff rules: expiring positions are auto-closed at 3:55:00 PM ET for most tickers, and 4:10:00 PM ET for SPY, QQQ, IWM, DIA on expiration day.
Can I hold positions overnight?
Yes. Holding through the night or across a weekend is fine on every plan and in every phase.
Can I trade big news (CPI, FOMC, earnings)?
Yes. CPI mornings, Fed days, and earnings are all fair game.
What happens if I do not close an expiring position?
Close anything expiring before the cutoff on the Rules page. Whatever is left open past that point is closed automatically at 3:55:00 PM ET for most tickers, and 4:10:00 PM ET for SPY, QQQ, IWM, DIA, so assignment risk never reaches your account.
What happens on market holidays or early closes?
We follow the exchange calendar. When the market closes early, the daily cutoffs move up with it.
Execution and access
I placed a trade and it did not fill the way I expected. What can I do?
Fills follow live market liquidity and are never guaranteed. If a fill looks genuinely wrong, send the order details to support for review.
Can I trade while traveling?
Yes. Everything runs online. If a location ever gives you access trouble, reach out to support.
Can I trade from my phone?
Yes. The platform is web-based and works from a mobile browser. If access is blocked from a location, contact support.
Can I trade through a VPN?
Trading over a VPN is generally allowed but may introduce latency. Some VPN exit nodes are blocked by payment risk controls; if you hit a wall, disable the VPN for the affected action.
Can I trade the same account from two devices at once?
Yes. The same account can be open in two sessions, though only one set of orders should be live at a time to avoid conflicting state.
