What is Strix Options?
A funding program for options traders. Pass a simulated evaluation to qualify for payouts and potentially a live account.
How is Strix Options different from a brokerage account?
A brokerage account uses your own capital. Strix gives you a simulated evaluation account first, then a funded account carried by the firm. You do not put up trading capital. The evaluation is a single one-time fee, not a subscription, and the funded account has its own one-time activation fee when you switch it on.
Who is Strix Options for?
Active options traders who want capital and rule clarity. Evaluations never expire and there is no minimum number of trading days. The Strix Plan allows full multi-leg structures including writing; Express is limited to buying.

Where do I find the exact rules?
The Rules page is the source of truth. Every dollar amount, percentage, and threshold lives there.
What do I do first after signing up?
Log in, look at the dashboard, read the Rules page, and start trading. Your evaluation account is issued on the spot, there is no warm-up period, and your first trade counts straight away.
Is there a free trial?
There is no free trial. You buy the evaluation once and it is yours: a single one-time fee with no monthly billing, nothing to renew and nothing to cancel. Evaluations never expire, so the account keeps running until you pass it, breach it, or close it.
Do I need to be in the US?
No. Traders outside the US can trade with Strix. KYC and tax forms differ for non-US traders.
How do I get started right now?
Pick an account size on the homepage, complete checkout, and trading access opens. The account is issued on the spot.
How is an options prop firm different from a futures prop firm?
Options trading allows defined-risk multi-leg strategies, premium selling, and overnight holds without futures-style settlement. Strix is built for options-first traders, with full multi-leg and undefined-risk access on the Strix Plan and a buy-only single-leg path on Express.
Why is the Evaluation simulated instead of real money?
A simulated environment lets you prove an edge without your own capital at risk. The firm carries the risk on accounts that pass into Funded and Live. The simulation runs on real market data, so results map cleanly onto live conditions.
