How promotions work
There is no warm-up rate. Your very first sale pays your tier rate, and so does every sale after it. When a sale pushes your lifetime count into a new tier, that sale is paid at the new rate, not the old one. Every commission you booked in the same calendar month that has not been paid out yet is recalculated at the new rate and topped up. Commissions from earlier months keep the rate they were booked at.
A sale counts once the first payment has gone through and has not been refunded. Tiers are permanent: if a sale is refunded later your count drops, but your rate does not. The highest tier you have reached is stored against your account, and a future change to this page cannot demote you either.

A worked month at Gold. These are not real numbers, but they are computed by the same arithmetic that writes yours. We considered the free account and decided against it. The gap between our starting rate and our top rate is 15 points, so on $40,000 of referred first payments that is $6,000 in cash. A free $50K account is roughly $3,468 a year of list price you cannot spend, cannot withdraw and cannot give to anyone else. We would rather send the money.

You are paid once per customer, not every month.
Commission is calculated on your referral's first payment. Renewals pay you nothing. That is exactly why the rate is 25% to 40% instead of 10% to 20%. You take one larger payment up front instead of a thin slice of a subscription most prop firm customers do not keep for a year.
A deeper site sale means a smaller commission.
You earn a share of what the customer actually pays, not of the list price. On a $289 plan at 30% off, 35% pays you $70.81. At 50% off, the same 35% pays $50.58. The discount that helps you close costs you basis. Every program works this way, we are just saying it out loud.
Your own purchases do not pay you.
Your code still works on your own account and you keep the discount for as long as you hold the subscription. The commission is withheld, and it shows up in your dashboard with the amount attached, so you can see exactly what the rule cost you instead of wondering where the row went.
Joining ends your reward wheel credits.
Strix traders earn spin credits for referrals. Affiliates earn cash instead, and you cannot do both. From the moment your affiliate account exists, referral credits stop accruing. Daily login, trading and review missions carry on as normal. If you refer fewer than about four people a year, credits are probably worth more to you. Choose deliberately.
A person sends your payout, not an API.
There is no instant payout button behind this. Someone reviews the run and sends the transfer from our bank, so expect one to three business days once it is approved. We are not going to put the word “instant” on this page.

Money
Your commission is your tier rate multiplied by what the customer actually paid, on their first payment only. Minimum payout $100, with no minimum number of sales. Your own purchases keep the discount and pay no commission. Evaluation resets and $0 orders do not earn commission.
Timing
Commission clears 14 days after your referral pays. Once it is cleared you can request a payout, and you can request again every 14 days. A person sends the transfer, so it lands one to three business days later.
Attribution
First touch, locked when they sign up, with a 30 day cookie. A referral link beats a discount code. Once someone is attributed to you, no later link or code can take them.
Refunds and chargebacks
These reverse the commission and net against your next payout. If a reversal is bigger than your balance it carries forward. Reversed rows stay in your dashboard with the reason attached, and a reversal never touches the tier you have already reached.
What ends the account
Bidding on Strix brand terms in paid search. Cashback, coupon injection or incentivised traffic. False or implied earnings claims about funded trading. Buying your own referrals through third parties. Any of these ends the account and forfeits the unpaid balance.
Tax
A W-9 is required before your first payout if you will clear $600 in a calendar year. No company needed.
